These jungle-themed paintings are inspired by the artwork in my debut picture book, Indigo Irvine. Mum and Indigo share a love of colour, creative play and adventure, which is reflected in the paintings that Mum creates.

This free-spirited way of painting uses a vibrant palette and dynamic marks to create an image full of joy and energy. The pet-like quality of the tiger in its peaceful sleeping position provides warmth and a moment of calm amongst the wild jungle it inhabits.
